Formed in 1977 as a not-for-profit membership organization, IAC is comprised of voluntary service providers supporting approximately 90,000 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. IAC currently represents over 142 members including Regular and Affiliate member agencies located in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and Rockland counties, as well as Associate member agencies and Subscribing members located throughout New York State. IAC member agencies offer a full spectrum of services including: Residential services, Special education, Early intervention, Job training and placement, Day habilitation, At home and community supports, Recreation, Clinical and health services, Service Coordination and other supports to families.
