SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This week is Men’s Breast Cancer Awareness Week. The National Health Institute says that from 2004 to 2014, the number of breast cancer cases for men jumped from 7.2 to 10.3 percent. Over that same time period, the mortality rate dropped from 11 to 3.8 percent.
