Dollywood was never coasters—at least, not just about the roller coasters. Years before her namesake park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, became a reality, Dolly told journalist Barbara Walters that she dreamed of building a “Smoky Mountain fairy land,” something that could capture and celebrate the spirit of her Appalachian home.

In a recent interview, Dolly Parton shared she goes "all-out" for Christmas and cooks a big meal for her family. She also shared that they don't start their diets until the New Year.

Ask a handful of Dollywood park-goers what they're excited to eat at Dollywood, and a good plenty will say the Cinnamon Bread. But ask Dolly herself, and she'll say something different. "My favorite thing to eat at Dollywood is everything," Dolly told Southern Living with a chuckle. But if she had to pick, she goes for the famous funnel cakes.
