Two days after the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam announced the death of an eaglet, it said that the second eaglet in the nest has passed away.

The eagle cam team says E25 started to have seizures similar to those of E24 and fell out the nest around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

An eaglet from the famous nest on SWFL Eagle Cam died suddenly in its nest Sunday night, with cameras capturing its signs of distress just minutes before it passed.

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A recently hatched eaglet featured on the popular Southwest Florida Eagle Cam livestream sadly passed away Sunday evening. According to the operators of the eagle cam, E24 passed away "suddenly" in the nest at 6:41 p.m. after showing signs of distress.

The Clinic for Wildlife Rehabilitation of Wildlife, or CROW, on Sanibel picked up the remains of E25, and technicians there will perform a necropsy on the bird.
