Dubai's Emirates Airlines has banned passengers from carrying pagers and walkie-talkies on its flights, following last month's attacks on Lebanese group Hezbollah involving communication devices that exploded.

Emirates Airlines has placed a ban on passengers travelling with pagers and walkie talkies over safety concerns following an attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon.

In a travel advisory updated on its website Friday evening, Emirates Airlines announced that pagers and walkie-talkies are prohibited on all flights to, from, and transiting through Dubai, whether in checked luggage or carry-on baggage.
