The Texas grocer announced that a new 140,000 square foot H-E-B coming east of Dallas will open in early 2026.

FORNEY, Texas - Grocery chain H-E-B is continuing to expand into North Texas with a new location that is coming to Forney. Construction will begin this month at the 140,000-square-foot store at U.S. 80 and Gateway Boulevard.

The grocer will neighbor other major retailers, including Target and Home Depot, in a shopping center expected to include restaurants, shops and eventually housing.
