The 5 p.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center has winds of 180 mph, making Milton an intense Category 5 major hurricane. Hurricane Warnings are now in effect for the majority of Central Florida, including Metro Orlando. This means sustained winds of 74 mph or greater are expected in the next 36 hours.
