Louisiana officials are undertaking an extensive review of the New Year's Day attack that killed at least 14 and injured dozens more, state Attorney General Liz Murrill told the media Tuesday afternoon.

The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation will conduct a review of security plans New Orleans had in place ahead of New Year’s Eve and the Sugar Bowl, following a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street that claimed 14 lives and injured 37.

More details about the scope of the review will come on Monday, according to Attorney General Liz Murrill, who said NOPD Chief Anne Kirkpatrick has pledged cooperation.
