HP is announcing an updated lineup of notebooks at CES that includes new EliteBooks, a new Ryzen AI-powered ZBook workstation, and a fresh 16-inch Omen Max gaming laptop that can spin its fan in reverse to help clear out dust from its vents.

HP is sprucing up its Omen gaming brand with new iterations of its flagship Omen 16 laptop—featuring fresh silicon from AMD, Intel, and Nvidia—plus an appealing compact tower, the Omen 16L.

HP just announced the latest Omen Max 16 gaming laptop, a next-generation machine with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 and AMD Ryzen AI 9 processors, up to 64GB RAM, and RTX 50-Series graphics cards. But I'm more interested in the cooling system.

At CES 2025, HP revealed updates to its Omen and Victus gaming devices, including laptops, desktops, and new accessories from HyperX. These include laptops and PCs with the recently announced Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs. Beyond the latest GPUs, we also get the latest processors from AMD and Intel in the 2025 lineup of HP products.

The HP OMEN 16 can come in a range of processors, including AMD Ryzen AI options like the Ryzen AI 9 365, Ryzen AI 7 350, and Ryzen AI 5 340. These processors have built-in support for AI tasks with 50 TOPS (trillions of operations per second). For more demanding work, there's the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX, which has more cores.

HP starts the year strong by giving its EliteBook series an AI boost alongside the new OmniStudio X, which could dominate the all-in-one space.

HP is updating its Omen gaming lineup with two 16-inch laptops, a compact 16L desktop, and a lower-end Victus that now comes in three colors, including pink.
