Prosus to Boost E-Commerce Profit to $400 Million for 2025 Year
Prosus NV plans to deliver $400 million in adjusted earnings before interest and tax from its e-commerce operations in the year to end-March, and sees this improving in future, Chief Executive Officer Fabricio Bloisi said.
Prosus Expects More IPOs From Its India Portfolio
The PE firm’s CEO Fabricio Bloisi said that the company remains excited about the prospects in the country. Bloisi said that the company is now valued around $100 Bn. Prosus has invested more than $7 Bn in Indian startups so far, according to Inc42 and Tracxn data.
Prosus CEO eyes massive e-commerce profits in 2025
Bloisi said that in April-September, the first half of its 2025 fiscal year, Prosus's global e-commerce business generated about three times the adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) than it did in the whole of last year, reflecting on his 100 days at the helm of the Dutch-listed company.
