A powerful explosion at a CRPF school in Rohini, Prashant Vihar, caused by a low-intensity IED, has led to a high alert across Delhi. Though no one was injured, the blast caused significant damage, sparking investigations by national security agencies.

A massive explosion took place near a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in Prashant Vihar in Delhi's Rohini on Sunday, triggering panic among residents in the nearby localities.

Delhi Police said they received a call about the blast at 07:47 am. "SHO/PV and staff reached the spot, where the school wall was found damaged with a foul smell," the police said. The glasses of a nearby shop and a car parked near the shop were damaged in the explosion.

“Fire engines, a bomb squad, and a police forensic team have been rushed to the spot where the loud explosion was heard near the CRPF school, Sector 14, Rohini,” they said.

Following the Rohini school blast incident, Delhi CM Atishi on Sunday accused BJP led central government of hindering the work of the elected government of the national capital rather than maintaining law and order.
