A large brawl which appeared to involve at least a dozen fans broke out at a men’s college basketball game between Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Saint Louis University (SLU) on Tuesday, causing the game to be halted for a number of minutes.

ST. LOUIS — A brawl broke out in the stands Tuesday night at Chaifetz Arena as the Saint Louis Billikens faced off against the VCU Rams. The fight broke out near the VCU bench and caused the game to be delayed about for seven minutes with 1:10 remaining. The Billikens went on to defeat the Rams 78-69.
