New Orleans attack: UGA student injured in terror attack says she’s ‘thankful’ to have survived
NEW ORLEANS, La. — A University of Georgia student who was severely injured in the New Orleans terror attack on New Year’s Day. Elle Eisele was among the more than 30 who was injured when Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, drove down Bourbon Street, killing 14 other people. Jabbar himself died after being shot by police officers after he opened fire on them.
