A tornado rolled through a Southern Mississippi on Wednesday afternoon damaging businesses and homes around the town of Columbia. Despite the time and afternoon that the severe weather struck, there were no reported injuries following the event.

The tornado that swept through Columbia Wednesday afternoon damaged about twenty homes and a half dozen businesses, according to Columbia mayor Justin McKenzie.
