Aaron Judge became the fastest player in MLB history to reach 350 home runs on Saturday. It feels inevitable that the Bronx slugger will eventually join the hallowed 500-homer club in the coming years.
Paul Skenes vs. Aaron Judge All-Star Game heavyweight showdown, which Skenes dubbed “big on big” ahead of last year’s contest, wasn’t even guaranteed, but, to the delight of baseball fans, it still transpired.
With chants of “MVP” from the Stadium crowd still echoing, Judge made almost as good a catch on the next play, as he raced in and made a diving play on Dansby Swanson’s sinking liner for the final out of the inning.
