Things are getting personal on the set of CBS’ “Elsbeth.” The Eye network was set to announce Sunday that Emmy-winning actor Michael Emerson — the husband of “Elsbeth” star Carrie Preston — will join the show in a recurring role this season.

Emerson has a long list of credentials in addition to his relationship to the show's star. He has won Emmys for his work on Lost, where he played the villainous Ben Linus, and for a guest-starring role on The Practice.
