While Villeneuve has been somewhat cryptic about Dune 3, he recently offered a much anticipated peek behind the curtain. Messiah sooner than he initially expected. He previously said that after Dune: Part Two , he wanted to take a break from the franchise and do something else, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case.

Dune director Denis Villeneuve is interested in making a silent film someday.
