With less than three weeks until Election Day, in-person early voting starts tomorrow in North Carolina. Here is what to know.

Bell said 65 percent of North Carolina voters cast their ballot during in-person early voting in 2020. Early voting will be available until Nov. 2, the Saturday before Election Day. Voters can request an absentee ballot until Tuesday, Oct. 29. The deadline to return an absentee ballot is 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

“Yesterday’s turnout is a clear sign that voters are energized about this election, that they trust the elections process, and that a hurricane will not stop North Carolinians from exercising their right to vote,” Brinson Bell said in a press release Friday.
