Hamden police officers said they seized drugs like fentanyl and crack cocaine, as well as two guns, from two Dixwell Avenue businesses Monday.

Police said the investigation began in February and allegedly turned up cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl and other drugs.

According to the Hamden Police Department, officers are at the scene of Dixwell Avenue for an investigation in connection to illegal sales of marijuana. Officers on scene were investigating at the Made in Greenwood Smoke Shop.
