British No.1 Jack Draper has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Italian Open after beating France's Corentin Moutet in the round of 16 on Tuesday.

Draper will now take on Alcaraz, the only man ahead of him in the points table for this season, in an enticing quarter-final. While Draper was disposing of Moutet, Alcaraz came through a three-setter of his own against Karen Khachanov, eventually winning by a 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 margin.

Jack Draper and Carlos Alcaraz will go toe-to-toe in a blockbuster Italian Open quarter-final this afternoon. It is Alcaraz who leads the head-to-head record 3-2, coming out on top earlier this year when Draper had to retire from their Australian Open clash, but the Briton got his revenge on his way to winning the title at Indian Wells.
