Union leaders representing King Soopers workers in Colorado in talks to hammer out a contract before the current one lapses.

While Fort Collins' new King Soopers will offer a "traditional" shopping experience, it will also boast modern amenities, according to the company.

The contract for union employees at King Soopers and Safeway stores is set to expire in less than 72 hours. The parent companies of both grocery stores are also fighting over a failed merger in court.
