Over the past few years the NBA has regularly made wild, flailing changes to the format for All-Star weekend events trying to revive interest and enthusiasm.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is getting an international twist this year, as Team USA faces off against Team World in a revamped format designed to boost competition and global bragging rights.

Sixteen players were selected to be on Team USA, which will be split in half for two teams of eight.
