India's biggest group of retail distributors has asked the antitrust authority to investigate three quick commerce companies - Zomato's Blinkit, Swiggy and Zepto - for alleged predatory pricing, a letter showed on Sunday.

Rapid commerce has swept through the Indian retail sector in recent years. Platforms like Zepto, Swiggy's Instamart, and Zomato's Blinkit, which promise deliveries in as little as 10 minutes, have completely transformed the way Indians purchase for everyday necessities.

The All India Consumer Products Distributors Federation (AICPDF) calls for an antitrust investigation into quick commerce companies like Swiggy and Blinkit, citing predatory pricing practices that threaten traditional retailers.

According to a letter by the group to CCI, quick commerce platforms, Zomato, Swiggy, Zepto, are offering deep discounts and selling below cost to lure customers.
