A series adaptation of Stephen King's "Carrie" from horror maven Mike Flanagan is in development at Amazon, Variety has learned.

Mike Flanagan and Stephen King are partnering on a new project — an eight-episode adaptation of King’s beloved novel “Carrie.” The series will go to Amazon, according to multiple media reports. The duo recently received praise for their collaboration at the Toronto Film Festival for “The Life of Chuck,” which won the Audience Award.
