It's difficult to imagine the conference champion not being one of the top three seeds, but as we know, in the NFL, anything can happen.

As we head into the final week of the NFL season, there's going to be a lot of drama and that's because there are still two playoff spots and three divisions up for grabs.  The NFC South, NFC North and AFC North will all be decided this weekend.

After sticking behind Kirk Cousins for most of the season, Michael Penix Jr. took the starting spot and made a show of it. In his final three games of the season, Penix completed 58 passes for 737 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for a touchdown.

And while the current NFL playoff picture is pretty clear in AFC (six of the seven teams have clinched spots) and the NFC (one spot is available), that means there are still squads that are very much alive heading into the final week of regular-season action.

The NFL playoffs are upon us, which means Super Bowl LIX is just a few weeks away. Fourteen teams remain alive after they battled for months to make the playoffs and are set to embark on a month-long sprint to try and earn a berth in New Orleans and hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

Welcome to the 2025 NFL postseason, in which we’ll find out who’s the champion at Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans. And it’s possible that one of the teams on this list might be there, hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for the very first time.
