History was made on this week's episode of WWE Raw. For the first time ever, there is a Women's Intercontinental Champion. This week on the show, Lyra Valkyria defeated Dakota Kai in the finals of a weeks long tournament to win the championship.

Netflix is providing WWE with an overall comfort that might not have been there on cable TV, and it was more noticeable tonight than last week. Not that things felt rushed before, but segments and matches were really allowed to breathe.

The newest championship in WWE is Lyra Valkyria after she beat Dakota Kai in the tournament finals on Monday Night Raw.

Lyra Valkyria and Dakota Kai are one match away from the biggest moment of their careers. After clawing their way through a qualifying bracket, the duo will face off in the tournament finals for WWE’s first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

The women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament began in early December of last year and stretched up to this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in San Jose, California, where Dakota Kai met Lyra Valkyria in the Finals.
