During the January 24 episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, it was confirmed that Charlotte Flair would be returning to WWE as part of the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match. The announcement was made during another vignette featuring the former WWE Women's Champion explaining why she feels her confidence has no hint of arrogance.

While fans await the WWE return of Charlotte Flair, the company could be eyeing a dream match against Tiffany Stratton for WrestleMania 41. According to a WrestleVotes Backstage Pass Q&A, Flair vs. Stratton is being discussed. However, Bill Apter added, “I don’t know if it’s going to happen, I know they’ve talked about it.”

Charlotte Flair's absence has been very heavy for WWE over the past year. The former world champion has not appeared on-screen since December 2023, when she suffered a very serious injury during her match against Asuka.
