The legendary musician John Mayer revealed that one of his biggest inspirations was New York Mets superstar Francisco Lindor. Mayer, who has won seven Grammy awards during his music career and is also the frontman of Dead & Company, shared a touching tribute to the New York shortstop for his effort during the MLB playoffs.

Lindor issued somewhat of a challenge to others in the Mets clubhouse regarding how the team can build on all that it accomplished from the early days of June through October.
