Wisconsin promoted former Ohio State standout linebacker Tuf Borland to assistant linebackers coach on Thursday. Borland’s promotion was part of a trio of moves, accompanied by the program hiring Joe Ludwig and Blake Rolan to assistant tight ends and assistant wide receivers coach, respectively.

Wednesday, the Badgers head coach announced Guiton as the team’s new quarterback’s coach. Guiton spent the 2024 season, his first with UW, as the receivers coach but coached the quarterbacks and receivers for the final two games after the firing of Phil Longo, who served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Wisconsin announced the hire of two new assistant coaches on Thursday: Blake Rolan (assistant wide receivers coach) and Andy Ludwig (assistant tight ends coach). The program also promoted graduate assistant Tuf Borland to assistant linebackers coach.

Jordan Reid, a former Ohio University standout who spent the past two seasons on Lance Taylor's Western Michigan staffs, has accepted the wide receivers post at Wisconsin, multiple sources told FootballScoop. With this being a live recruiting period, Reid already is on the ground and working at Wisconsin, sources added.

A familiar face will be Wisconsin football's next quarterbacks coach. Badgers Head Coach Luke Fickell announced Kenny Guiton as quarterbacks coach on Wednesday morning. Guiton spent last season as the team's wide receivers coach.
