Gov. Hochul Announces Immediate Reforms Following Visit to Marcy Correctional Facility After Death of Robert Brooks
Hochul also announced immediate corrective measures. She already ordered a comprehensive investigation into Brooks's death and instructed New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Commissioner Daniel Martuscello to initiate the termination process for the 14 individuals involved in the fatal incident.
