Last week in the NBA featured some amazing Christmas Day games, but that wasn’t the only time players stepped up their games. We had two players average over 60 fantasy points last week – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama. This marks Wembanyama’s second straight week averaging over 60 FP/G, but SGA gets the top spot.

After three wins this week, the Miami Heat regained a place among the Top 10 teams. This week, the Heat moved up to No. 9. The team had four games on the schedule this week, three of them on the road.

Last week featured the Bucks winning the NBA Cup, but more amazing action soon followed. This week’s edition of the Fantasy Basketball Power Rankings is led by massive performances from Victor Wembanyama and Jayson Tatum, who both averaged over 60 fantasy points in their two games.

The NBA season is about a third of the way over and by now, we have started to see who teams are. While there are always some surprises along the way, teams typically start to form their identities toward the end of the calendar year.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a bit of a roller coaster ride this season. They started out as one of the best teams in the entire league after a 10-4 start. JJ Redick was getting a lot of praise for how he was starting out his coaching career.

With only a few days left until 2024, all NBA teams will begin 2025 with goals and New Year’s resolutions. Christmas Day was a huge success as all the games were decided by 10 points or less and saw the stars shine on the biggest stage.

Since that Cup run, the Bucks have been fairly average. A rough loss to the Nets showed that they still have some work to do if they want to be taken seriously as a contender to w
