Vrabel won three Super Bowls with the Patriots during his time as a Pro Bowl linebacker. It's his work as a head coach, though, that made him a top candidate. As the head man of the Tennessee Titans, Vrabel went 54-45 and helped the team reach the playoffs in three of the six years with the team.

The New York Jets have begun their search for a new head coach and it continues with former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.

Tannehill suffered multiple injuries that season and was ultimately benched for rookie Malik Willis, who struggled badly. Vrabel’s defense was still strong against the run, but were a league worst against the pass and it all led to a 7-10 finish in 2022. The Titans missed the playoffs for the first time in three seasons.
