Three coaches of Shalimar Express, heading from Lahore to Karachi, derailed near Shahdara area of Lahore in Pakistan’s Punjab, ARY News reported. As per the details, the railway officials said that engineering department teams reached the site of the incident and relief operations are being conducted.
According to sources, three bogies of the Shalimar express were derailed from the track while one was derailed from the bridge, resulting in closure of the pick and down track and affecting the schedule of Faisalabad-bound trains from Lahore.
