Satellite imagery from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Wednesday showed the extent of the snow that covered the South.

Snow totals in Louisiana have broken records. Parts of Florida, Texas and Georgia have also accumulated several inches of snow.

A rare winter storm churned through Florida, Texas and other parts of the U.S. Gulf Coast. It brought unusually cold temperatures and record snowfalls, causing travel delays and deadly road conditions.
