The St. Louis Cardinals have been trying to trade Nolan Arenado for quite some time now. With the Boston Red Sox the rumored favorites, Arenado tries to do John Mozeliak a favor.

However, Arenado isn't exactly the perfect fit for Boston.

According to MLB insider John Denton, the Red Sox and Cardinals have continued trade discussions, with top prospect Blaze Jordan emerging as a potential piece in the deal. Jordan, 22, was drafted in the third round of the 2020 MLB Draft and has shown promise as a power-hitting corner infielder.
