MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WEAU) - The Milwaukee Brewers are announcing the death of Bob Uecker. According to a press release from the Milwaukee Brewers, Uecker passed away in the early morning of Jan. 16, 2025, at his home, at the age of 90.

Former MLB catcher and broadcasting legend Bob "Mr. Baseball" Uecker passed away early Thursday morning, the Milwaukee Brewers announced.

Fans began to line the bottom of Uecker's statue outside the ballpark with cans of Miller Lite in a nod to the legendary announcer.
