The special Barbie Diwali doll has been dressed by Indian designer Anita Dongre, who has previously made outfits for Beyoncé and Kate Middleton, to name a few.

The Diwali doll, created in collaboration with fashion designer Anita Dongre, features traditional elements and will cost $40.

Barbie has launched its first-ever Diwali barbie doll, designed by Anita Dongre, featuring traditional Indian attire to celebrate the festival of lights and highlight the beauty of Indian culture.

The doll will feature traditional Indian elements, including a cropped top, or choli; a floral vest known as a koti; and a patterned, ankle-length skirt called a lehenga.

In celebration of the five-day Hindu festival of lights known as Diwali, Mattel has lit up the Barbie universe with its first Diwali doll. The company’s launch of the doll comes a few weeks ahead of the holiday’s start in late October.
