Boxing promoter Turki Alalshikh has shown interest in booking Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder next, due to Tyson Fury.

Tyson Fury must reverse his retirement in the next “three or four weeks” to set up a summer showdown with Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn has warned. Fury announced his retirement this week, having made the same claim several times in recent years, potentially thwarting a dream fight with Joshua.

Fury made his announcement on Instagram a few days ago taking his number of retirements up to four. Whether the former unified heavyweight champion is finally hanging up the gloves for good or not remains to be seen. Turki Alalshikh, however, sees an alternative for Joshua’s future in a former opponent of Fury’s.
