The amount of astronomical money that modern day PGA Tour and LIV Golf players make has dramatically changed the all-time list.

The upstart Saudi-backed golf league that sent shockwaves through professional golf four years ago announced a new broadcast rights deal Thursday with Fox Sports.

Added Jordan Bazant, evp of Fox Sports, “Fox Sports is excited to broadcast the LIV Golf League, showcasing athletes at the top of their game competing at an elite level for viewers across the nation. The addition of LIV Golf is a natural fit for Fox Sports’ prominent slate of big events, world-class names and premium sports coverage.”

LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder, not only with the FOX deal but also the focus on signing new players, individual sponsorship deals for their 13 separate teams, the desire for corporations to now work with the league as well as established golf venues interested in bringing LIV events to their courses and clubs.

The agreement marks the first time the startup league will air on a major sports TV network in the U.S. since its inception in 2022.

LIV said more than half of the league’s schedule would be shown on Fox or FS1. It aired on the CW Network the last two years, and failed to gain any real traction.

After struggling to find a major television deal in its first two seasons, LIV Golf finally has a big-name partner to broadcast its matches in 2025 and beyond.
