Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is among the top names in this year's NFL head coaching cycle —and according to one NFL insider, he's become "the candidate to watch" for one team in particular.

It’s unclear whether the Raiders are as interested in Sanders as he is in them. Tom Brady, who recently joined the franchise as a minority owner, is spearheading the search for a coach and general manager after the dismissal of Tom Telesco on Thursday. Brady will have a significant voice in the Raiders’ decisions.

Certainly, many people will say that Ben Johnson should not become the head coach of the Raiders. The reason being — they’re so far away from being a complete roster that it will make it tough for him to win right away. Especially with such a competitive AFC West division. All of that makes sense.
