Activists and northwest Indiana residents are asking the Indiana to reduce water pollution coming from BP’s Whiting Refinery.

Environmental groups are concerned that a proposed water pollution control permit would allow the BP Whiting Refinery to keep dumping mercury and other forever chemicals into Lake Michigan.
