Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois could be set for a rematch in February, as part of a “big surprise” event in Saudi Arabia.

It appears that IBF heavyweight boxing champion Daniel Dubois will grant Anthony Joshua's wish for a rematch next.

Anthony Joshua seems intent on pursuing a rematch with Daniel Dubois. Many people in the boxing world have advised the former two-time champion against it given the way in which he was defeated back in September. He was knocked down multiple times and was chasing the fight from the first round, with a low guard and lazy jabs.

Anthony Joshua should be pushing for his rematch against Daniel Dubois to take place on the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk show in December if he is serious about boxing again, according to former world champion Johnny Nelson.

Daniel Dubois has revealed he ‘loved’ his back-and-forth exchange with Anthony Joshua in the moments before their fight ended. Dubois dropped Joshua several times en route to victory in September, but in the seconds before “Dynamite” knocked out “AJ” in round five, the latter appeared to stun Dubois with a pair of right hands.

As it turned, however, on September 21 Dubois was everything Charles and Farrell said he was. Within just 30 seconds he had steadied Joshua with a hard left jab and a couple of minutes later he had put the former heavyweight champion on the deck. By the end of round five the fight was over.
