Academy Award-nominee Guy Pearce has joined the cast of Blurred, an upcoming erotic thriller written and directed by Waiting for Anya filmmaker Ben Cookson. The announcement comes after Pearce's Oscar and BAFTA nominations for his performance in A24's epic period drama The Brutalist.

It has also raked up multiple Oscar nominations, including one for Guy Pearce for his performance as industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren. Pearce has been a consistent name among the nominees and his performance speaks for himself.
