A man convicted of killing two young women whose naked bodies were found along a Fremont road in 1986 was sentenced this week to 50 years to life, prosecutors said. David Misch, 63, was convicted last month of two counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Jennifer Duey and Michelle Xavier,

Jeremy Bailey was found guilty of fatally shooting a man he was in a dispute with, as well as an innocent bystander.

After being removed from court to a holding cell on the side, David Misch continued to whistle loudly as his victims’ family members spoke.
