Millions of Pixel users have already upgraded to Android 15, with the latest version of the OS promising a wealth of security and privacy updates. Announcing its release last week, Google promised “security features that help keep your sensitive health, financial and personal information protected from theft and fraud.”

Google rolled out Android 15 last week for the compatible Pixel line of smartphones. The latest Android OS brings improvements and new features over the last version. After the rollout, folks with a compatible Pixel device installed the update to try out the new features.

Android 15 introduces a completely new design to the expanded Android volume panel on Pixels — with larger, more easily adjusted sliders for specific sorts of media volumes as well as a more prominent button to shift your phone’s audio output from the phone itself to any connected devices.
