Glenhaven Fire initially started 11:37 a.m. Oct. 4 in Lake County. It has burned 417 acres after being active for two days. A fire crew of 285 has been working on site and they managed to contain 43% of the fire as of Sunday evening. However, the cause is still being investigated.

About 285 fire personnel are focused on strengthening containment lines and mopping up interior portions of the 417 acre area scorched by the fire.

Forward progress has been stopped and containment grows on the Glenhaven Fire burning north of Clear Lake in Lake County, officials said Saturday.

Glenhaven Fire initially started today at 11:37 a.m. in Lake County. Since its discovery three hours ago, it has burned 293.7 acres, an increase of 72 acres since the last update. By Friday afternoon, the fire crew has not achieved any containment of the blaze. The cause of it is still under investigation.
