Utah has now won four straight games and seven straight road games. “They’re a tough team to play,” Utah head coach André Tourigny said of the Wild after the game. “They have elite players, but (I’m) really happy about the way we played against their top players in the second part of the game.”

Utah welcomes in the Holidays at home with a pair of pre-Christmas games against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday, Dec. 22 and the Dallas Stars on Monday, Dec. 23. Sunday’s game against Anaheim is scheduled for 3 p.m. while Monday’s affair is slated to start at 7 p.m.

The Minnesota Wild started out in front and looked strong but Utah fought hard and came out with the win in a close battle.

Heading into the Christmas break, things were really starting to look up for the Colorado Avalanche. The team’s 5-2 win over the Seattle Kraken made it three wins in a row heading into the break, settling the team firmly in third place in the Central Division.
