Darnold had a 36.8 score (that's extremely bad) on the eight passing plays that the Rams blitzed. When he was pressured, he completed 10 of 17 passes for 114 yard an an interception. When he was kept clean, he was 15 of 23 for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Pro Football Focus released snap counts and grades for the Minnesota Vikings 2024 rookie class, who had the fewest snaps in the NFL.

PFF reflected Young’s comeback campaign rather well. The second-year quarterback recorded the team’s lowest (32.6) and fifth-lowest (38.8) single-game offensive grades before his benching, then hit for the highest (91.7) and fourth-highest (89.3) marks after returning to the starting lineup.

It was a complete team effort from the offense, defense and special teams, but Chris Shula’s group on defense was particularly impressive. The Vikings managed just nine points and 269 yards on 71 plays, and Sam Darnold was sacked nine times – tying a single-game playoff record.
