Zomato announced its Q2 2025 numbers today, for the quarter ending September 2024, with surge in profits and revenue alike. The company reported an adjusted EBITDA of ₹330 crore, which was up by a staggering ₹289 crore from the ₹41 crore it reported in Q2 of 2024.

The company's total expenses rose to Rs 4,783 crore in the quarter ending September, up from Rs 4,203 in the previous quarter and Rs 3,039 in the same quarter last year

The company has also received approval from its board of directors to raise up to Rs 8,500 crore via QIP of equity shares

Zomato's B2B arm nearly doubled its revenue while its quick commerce offerings continued to receive bullish consumer sentiment during the quarter.

Leading food delivery platform Zomato has reported a whopping jump in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of FY25. The company's net earnings jumped by 389% to ₹176 crore, compared to ₹36 crore in the same quarter last year.

Zomato is set to report a substantial increase in its September quarter net profit, with estimates ranging from 585% to 662% year-on-year growth. Revenue is also expected to rise by 61% to 80%. The earnings announcement will be made on Tuesday.

Ahead of the results, brokerages tracked by Business Standard have estimated Zomato's profit after tax (PAT) on an average to see a robust increase of 749 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to Rs 305.
