Delta Air Lines wants to elevate its passenger experience even before the plane leaves the ground. The airline, which next year will celebrate it centennial anniversary, on Tuesday announced it is embarking on a "nose to tail" redesign of its interior cabins.

Delta Air Lines is debuting a brand-new look this fall, with sleek new cabin interiors on its narrowbody Boeing 757 aircraft that will eventually be applied across the carrier’s fleet.

The interiors of Delta Air Lines planes are slated to receive a makeover, with the carrier saying it was "committed to having its entire fleet look uniform and updated" with the new design.

Delta Air Lines said it is revamping the interiors of aircraft cabins across its fleet with new colors and lighting. It will include mood lighting for different phases of the flight and new seats with darker colors and memory foam cushions in Comfort+ and economy seats on wide-body jets.
